What?? Where did the summer go? Where did 2021 go?
Seems like everyone is having a hard time remembering when events happened during the past two years or how long it actually takes to accomplish a task.
TPD (Time Perception Distortion) is the phenomenon that occurs most frequently when we dislike doing a specific task. (no, it really doesn’t take three hours to organize your desk!) What is your TPD? I think mine might be organizing my paperwork.
You haven’t heard from me in quite sometime so I thought I would fill you in on what I have been doing.
Learning, Learning, Learning
I have taken several online courses in social media management as well as Quick Books Online; made the plunge, and went from desktop to online with Quick Books. In my experience, it is not quick. It has been a long, painful and expensive transition. Theoretically, it will be a good investment in my future accounting. Hope springs eternal….
With Zoom classes every Sunday since March (it ends in November) in Advanced Aromatherapy, and regularly scheduled Zoom classes in holistic modalities and business, I also got some in-person-masked training in using sound healing and tuning forks (which I have incorporated into my reflexology sessions).
Pilates Teacher Training

A 500 hour Pilates Teacher Training course has been in the works since 2018. I am on my last 50 hours with my final exams and student teaching nearing completion.
I invested in a Pilates Tower and been training colleagues and clients one-on-one in my office and teaching group classes in a local park on Saturday mornings.
The time lag from beginning to end in this Pilates training has had much to do with how the work has affected me. Going through all of the postures and sequences has revealed imbalances and mal-alignments within my own body which forced me to figure them out.
The unwinding process is never quick or easy. Now, I am better, stronger and hopefully will be more adept at identifying patterns in others as a teacher. That’s the goal.
Egyptian Kyphi Incense

Additionally, I have studied extensively in the ancient art of incense making as well the Scents of Ancient Egypt. One of the things I learned was the formula for Kyphi incense which the ancient Egyptians not only burned in their homes, temples and sacred spaces, they also adorned their hair with its smoke and chewed on it for fresh breath!
Kyphi will be available for use and gifting very soon. It smells divine with mood enhancing myrrh and frankincense centering and elevating your emotions while it purifies your environment. Incense really was the first aromatherapy.
So,
the holidays are coming

Working with designers and photographers, product labels are now redesigned and new product photographs are forthcoming. You will see these changes in an upcoming post to hopefully inspire you to think about gifts for yourself, family and friends for the upcoming holiday season of giving. Be on the lookout for our Annual Black Friday sale. Happy Halloween too!
Until next time, wishing you a day where you get to hear a favorite song, get a good laugh, and the frustrating parts flow smoothly,

It was great ti hear from you again, Mary Ellen! Thanks for an uplifting and joyful message. Looking forward to the holidays already 🙂
